Dr. Raj Dedhia is a FACIAL PLASTIC SURGEON and current CHIEF OF FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and performs comprehensive cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries of the face, nose, eyelids, head and neck. He is a DOUBLE BOARD-CERTIFIED FACIAL PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON.
Dr. Dedhia is dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best and has built his practice on the pillars of patient care and excellence. Dr. Dedhia’s cosmetic surgery focuses on obtaining natural and long-lasting results. Dr. Dedhia believes each person is unique and provides a personalized treatment plan during each consultation.
Dr. Dedhia is originally from Northern California. After graduating summa cum laude from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Bioengineering, he obtained his medical degree at the University of Southern California. There, Dr. Dedhia was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated with Highest Distinction. He then pursued a rigorous five-year Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of California Davis.
Following residency, Dr. Dedhia was selected for a highly competitive and coveted fellowship within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During fellowship at Vanderbilt University, he received extensive experience in advanced facial plastic surgery, including deep plane facelift, rhinoplasty, browlift, minimally invasive and non-invasive facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, facial reanimation for facial paralysis, Moh’s/skin cancer reconstruction and facial trauma.
Dr. Dedhia is actively involved in research and is the author of over 25 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He additionally has given over 30 institutional lectures and scientific meeting presentations. Dr. Dedhia is also involved with global health endeavors and has recently participated in medical mission and education trips to Philippines and Cambodia.
